We celebrated the season with festive parties in each of our offices. In Bala, we enjoyed gourmet food stations with items like truffled french fries, sushi, and make your own milkshakes. In Dublin, we dressed up and grabbed props for a photo booth. We played poker in Chicago, listened to jazz in New York, and had a great dinner in San Francisco. Thanks to all of our employees for getting in the holiday spirit with us!

In the spirit of the holiday season, we celebrated by giving back. Employees teamed up to fulfill holiday “wish lists” for the Bryn Mawr Hospital’s Adopt-A-Family program, donate toys to the Saint Vincent De Paul Holiday Appeal and The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, and to purchase 50+ bikes and helmets for local children in need through Toys for Tots.

Our employees have unpacked their boxes and officially moved in to our new Dublin office building. We've been enjoying using our brand new gym, larger kitchens, fully stocked library, and taking in the great views of our city. We can’t wait to continue to grow our team in our new space.

We've had a busy few months visiting schools across the country. We kicked things off with talks from one of our founders, Jeff Yass, at the Harvard and Penn Algorithmic Research Clubs. Next, we were off to the biannual Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament, hosting a mini-event called “The Mathematics of Poker and Games” for the students. The event featured an estimation game, a talk by World Series of Poker bracelet winner Bill Chen, and prizes. Speaking of prizes, the first winner of our $5,000 Half Court Shot Contest scored big at the Brown men's basketball home opener and students from different schools participated in our MindSumo coding challenge, where they took home prizes of up to $150 for their applications. We enjoyed meeting students on campus and wish them the best of luck on finals!

Over 50 SIG athletes competed in our annual Under 30 vs. Over 30 Soccer game. Donning SIG jerseys, our game went into overtime with the Over 30 Team coming out on top—for the first time in 5 years! Congrats to all of our competitors.

Team SIG recently participated in the Corporate Challenge run in Sydney. The race brought in a record number of runners this year – over 8,200! – from 355 companies. We were proud to gather with our co-workers to celebrate workplace fitness and make a difference for the Indigenous Marathon Project, an organization that provides an opportunity for indigenous men and women to run the New York Marathon. Congratulations to all of the participants!

We recently enjoyed some friendly competition outside of the office at the Dublin Simon Fun Run in the Phoenix Park. Our SIG employees and their families raced for the charity, which works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, and Wicklow.

Team SIG came out in full force to participate in the Four Seasons Parkway Run/Walk benefitting The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Over 500 SIG employees and our families competed in the 5K race or enjoyed the 2K family walk. With several SIG finishes in the front of the pack, we enjoyed spending the morning together for a little competition to support a great cause.

There is not much better than taking in a summer ballgame with friends. Employees from our Philadelphia, NYC, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco offices all enjoyed nights out watching our Phillies, Yankees, Cubs, Red Sox, and Giants. Whether our teams won or lost, we all wore our SIG gear proudly and enjoyed an awesome night out!

This year’s Family Fun Night took place at Clementon Park & Splash World. SIG took over the entire water park for a one-of-a-kind experience for our employees and their families. We enjoyed access to all of the park’s rides, boardwalk style games and attractions, as well as great food and a craft beer garden.
