Travis Oliphant, Creator of NumPy and Python Community Advocate

Along with creating NumPy, Travis Oliphant is a founding contributor of the SciPy package, author of the definitive Guide to NumPy, and CEO of Continuum Analytics. We welcomed Travis for a discussion on the continuing expansion of the Python community, industry trends, and Continuum Analytics’ role in shaping the future. It was a packed house as our technologists, their friends, and members of the Philadelphia Python Users Group joined us for a reception both before and after the talk. Hosted in our new game room, we had a great selection of seasonal craft beers, along with Foodery sandwiches and a Federal Donuts cake.
